A fantastic Trip to OOTY (Queen of Hills)

Me and Praveen was planning from last 6-8 months to go anywhere for outing, some relaxation from works, pressure, tensions. but every time we had to cancel our plan because of work. then we plan for Ooty trip we taken ticket before 1 week ago with Rajesh, KM, Kiran, but we was not sure we'll go until we caught the bus for Ooty.

We started journey for Ooty by bus at Friday night, next day morning we reached there, we went Rajesh's home as Ooty is home town of Rajesh. then get ready for roaming had breakfast Idly & Dosa. we went Botanical garden, Doddabetta Peak etc. enjoyed a lot whole day feel a great day with tiredness. In night we enjoyed Tamilnadu's orchestra with great songs music. we was happy with music as we don't know tamil.

Next day we went Kannur where Fruit Show was happening, we enjoyed there with great art by Fruits. by evening we back to Ooty again done some shopping bought chocolates as Ooty chocolates are famous. then planning for coming back. That was a very nice trip and a very nice place. weather was awesome. We feel Rajesh home as our home enjoyed lot there. Thanks to Rajesh, Uncle, Aunty, Sister, and his brother.

Botanical Garden

Botanical Garden is the best garden ever known in India and is one of the popular attractions in Ooty. It is located on the hillock which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Covering an extensive area of 55 acres, the Botanical Gardens in Ooty was laid way back in the year 1847 by the Marquis of Twee dale on the lower slopes of the Dodabetta Peak. It is indeed a pleasure to stroll in the lush green lawns of the garden and admire the stunning variety of flowers, ferns and orchids.

Doddabetta Peak

Doddabetta Peak is 2,623 meters making it the highest point of the district. It is located at a distance of about 10 km from the main town and offers an unbelievably beautiful view of the surrounding topography.

Rose Garden

Rose garden is the heart and soul of city of Ooty and attracts. The construction is so beautiful and there are small tunnels made wherein the roses are planted in tunnels.
