Fabulous Kerla Trip

          I’m writing about my recent awesome Kerla trip, After post ponding many times finally I have booked 2 return flight tickets to Cochin from Bangalore for me and my wife, Hotels for all the my stay, Cab for full itinerary on Feb for March trip. March month was not much preferable for Munnar trip as it would be better in winter or raining season, but then also we stick to our plan to complete our trip. 


Here is my full itinerary of trip:

Day1: Bangalore to Cochin by Flight, Stay at Quality Airport Hotel, Cochin

Day2: Cochin to Munnar by Cab, Stay at Misty Mountain Resort, Munnar

Day3: Munnar Sightseeing, Stay at Misty Mountain Resort, Munnar

Day4: Munnar to Alleppy, Stay at Indrprastham Houseboat

Day5: Alleppy to Kochi, Kochi Sightseeing & Return back to Bangalore from Cochin Airport 

       Count down begin to start our trip, finally that day reached and we started our trip on evening of 24th march. We left office early to catch evening Indigo Airlines flight from Bangalore International Airport, which too far from Bangalore city, taking almost 2 hours, we booked cab so could reach little early. We boarded to flight in night. We reached Cochin before flight attender air hostess completed their instructions as Cochin is just less than 1 hour journey from Bangalore.

             After reaching there we called our Hotel Quality Airport Hotel to pick us from airport. We had our dinner in hotel wake up early morning as we have to start our journey to Munnar in cab. Our cab driver was in time, he reached hotel pickup us before we woke up. I informed him that we’ll little late so went to have his breakfast. We also have nice breakfast in hotel and Started journey to Munnar city, which is around 100 km from Cochin. We were enjoying full greenery on the way. Visited spice garden where we have seen Cardamom, Clove, Coffee, Vanilla essence and many more plants.

          After 4 hour travel we have reached our Munnar Hotel, Misty Mountain Resorts around 4 PM, which is one of best hotel in Munnar on the top of hills from where can be experienced awesome view Munnar Tea farms and valley. We have booked valley side room for our two days stay, that’s worth we were able to see fully valley view from our room itself. Evening we went for Kerla traditional program near to our hotel. We have enjoyed 1 hour Punarjani Kerla Traditional program over there. Had nice north Indian dinner in resort & attended Camp Fire event in resort which was not much impressive. Went for sleep as we have wakeup early again for Munnar sightseeing.

        Next day we had nice breakfast in resort and started sightseeing by our cab which was booked for all 4 days of our trip. We wanted to visit Rajamalai National park, but at that it was closed so my cab driver suggested to Visit Fun world there we have spent half of the day with many fun & adventurous activities.  Came back to resort and relaxed for an hour. Evening Visited Mattupetti Lake and Dam, Echo Point and did shopping in Munnar City market. Came back to hotel.

          Next Morning started little early to Alleppy from our booked cab as its little far and we have to reach our Houseboat before 1 o’clock. We reached on time in 4.5 hour and check-in to Indraprastham houseboat for next 24 hour in backwater. We had lunch there in top the houseboat and till evening we were enjoyed cruise. 

               Then in Evening we had boating in small boat to have experience of sunset. Its was awesome, first seen sun to getting down on water as till that we can see it was full of water. After sun drone on water we back to our houseboat. Same evening we enjoyed Ind vs Aus T20 world cup match in Houseboat while having dinner. Morning we had breakfast there and around 9 o’clock our Cab reached to take us back to Kochi. Before Kochi we went Mararikulam beach, It was awesome. We have spent 2 hour there playing at Sea side and capture moments in pictures.

          Reached Kochi within 1 hour, visited Fort Kochi covering Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Folklore Museum, St. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing Nets, Kochi Fort Beach, spent 2-3 hour there. And started to Cochin Airport, had lunch on the way. Reached too early to Airport waited for 2 hour for our flight, then time came for boarding. We boarded in Cochin to Bangalore flight, reached Bangalore with awesome memories and lots of pictures.

                     

Flipkart outdoors Indiblogger meet

Reached office morning and got notification from IndiBlogger fb page about #FlipkartOutdoors IndiBlogger meet, immediately i registered for the meet as only 4 seats left for registration meanwhile got WhatsApp notification from my blogger friend Vikash to register the event. after registration informed him as i registered and messaged him lets have fun in another IndiBlogger meet.

Its always awesome and fun with IndiBlogger meets, this time IB and Flipkart came up with new natural theme to have a meet and all the fun out side city's crowd in Mango Mist resorts. As Its little far for all of us so IB team has arranged IndiBuses to resort.



Its difficult for me to wake up early morning even on weekends, then also i wake up very early as i have to catch the IndiBus at 8 A.M., then also i got little late i called Indi team that i'm getting late about 10-15 minutes. they have waited for me. I reached the pick up point and shown my Indi badge to get check in. we started to resort and reached on time.



IndiTeam has given us full day schedule for all the fun and outdoor activities in the resort. In this event Flipkart has came with some outdoor gadgets that can be make outdoor activities more enjoyable. So we have formed the team & started exploring all the gadget.




First we have started with Polaroid Cameras they have Polaroid Cube action cameras that can shoots videos and capture pictures in one click while outdoor also can be attached to our helmets to shoots the video while driving, Polaroid Zink printer that can print picture immediately we have taken and many more accessories.

Then we have explored the Red & Chief outdoor shoes were awesome in design and comfort. Red & Chief my favorite from my school days when i purchased my first Red & Chief shoes. No doubt "Red & Chief hai to leather hi hoga".


After that we have explored the Sony Action Cameras and accessories specially manufactured for outdoor activities also those can be use everywhere. Sony action Cameras were awesome in speed, its can take pictures in mili seconds without blur images. So it can capture every seconds very perfectly.

Now its time for Garmin smart watches, those can track our all the activities very perfectly with GPS, heart rate sensor inbuilt.






Explored Samsung Gear Smartwatches personally with tracking my activities in resorts. I have burned around 241 calories and won the second most calorie burner prize with using Samsung Gear smartwatch.
                      It can track every step very correctly, exact running, heart beat, also can connect with our smart phones and synced all data from our smart phones. We can get email notification and many other notification after connecting Smasung Smart Watch and smart phone.

We explored Coleman outdoor accessories, they have a challenge to complete Coleman tent within 10 minutes, so have finished within 3 minutes and were in second placed. unfortunately my team didn't get prize as IndiTeam has change the rule and given all the prize to first team.

Altec Lansing Outdoor speaker were awesome, we can some rain dance while holding that speaker as thsose were fully water proof and sound quality were awesome.




Now we head up for activities inside the resort, first we went for Rock Climbing. While seeing the i thought its very easy to climb that rock, but after i went in middle on the rock grip was bad compare to lower part of rock at time i realize its not that much easy. then also climb almost on top of the rock and won the prize for top 5 blogger rock climber.

After rock climbing taken some rest as got little tired and then explored other activities like Quake Walk, Archery, Zip Line and had lunch. Then moved for Paintball.

We have formed the team and Anup has explained rules for Paintball activities, our team was in last to play the Paintball i was a defender in game. We played for more than 8 minutes, but couldn't defeat opponent team but enjoyed the game.





 It was awesome experience to firing in war in battleground. feeling like army man we dressed and all like Army.





Now we departed for home by IndiBuses. Event was awesome and we all enjoyed very well. The hangover was till next day i was little tired in #Flikartoutdoors event.
